Hi, apologies if this is in the wrong forum but I couldn't find a dedicated
operating system or Media Center forum.
I'm having sever problems channel changing with this above combination.
The
Samsung STB requires a toggle bit IR transmission every time an identical
key
is pressed (114 becomes 14 for example, and 111 becomes just 1)
Several people have raised this problem and Microsoft has done nothing
about
it, surely it can't be that hard to edit the appropriate IR database file
and
update it with this toggle bit?
I've tried the following to no avail before anyone asks:
Debouncing reg hack
IR Speed reg hack (as per a MS KB article)
Teaching MCE the codes from the remote
Moving the IR Bud around to different locations
Pulling my hair out!
None have worked.
Look forward to someone's response! (Hopefully a Media Center techy)
