Thanks George... i tried that and still no luck. I've gone as far as
removing all instances of MSDE or MSSQL from the registry as well as
cleaning up old remnants of the install. Still seems to fail when
setting up MSDE. I also get the same error when trying to setup MSDE
SP3 with a default install.
