I would run thru the install and remove Event & Perf logging on the member
then add it to the cluster.
Thank You

Running W2K Advanced Server SP4, one of the AppCenter cluster members had
to
be rebuilt. After installing all required apps & AppCenter, I attempted to
add this member back into the cluster. I receive the error:
The wizard was unsuccessful -- the cluster operation returned a failure.
0xC0140045
The SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine (MSDE) setting on this member is not
the
same as on the controller. This flag is used to confirm that the members
and
the controller have the same MSDE installation configuration (0xc0140045).
Googled the only article on the web
(http://www.webservertalk.com/archive187-2004-7-329317.html)
& installed
the
MSDE driver (MSSQL$MSAC) which shows up in services. It is NOT installed
on
the other cluster member (the controller) but had been working before this
server was rebuilt. HELP!
