Cluster Aware Switch

I am finding out that the NICS are switching IP addresses. Usually I set up

NLB with 2 NICS. I only load the IP address of the NIC and the cluster on
one 
NIC with NO default gateway. 
On the production NIC I load everything. In DNS I have the cluster address

registered ONLY.

Does this sound about right?
