Hi Michael,

There hasn't been available test results of AC2000 and Win2003 R2. Below
are the tips and known issues of AC2000 on Win2003 SP1:

Known Issues
============
1) After installing Windows 2003 Server Service Pack 1 (SP1), hotfix
891330
must be
installed. This hotfix backs off some of the permissions made by SP1 so
Application Center can properly function.

FIX: You experience problems after you install Windows Server 2003
Service Pack
1 on a server that is running Application Center 2000
    http://sup****t.microsoft.com/?id=891330

Application Center is designed to function in either a workgroup or
domain
environment with the same security setup so it uses only local accounts to

validate
across servers which require an initial anonymous access to allow it to
pass local
credentials for validation. That is why hotfix 891330 forces the access
permission
limits to include anonymous and disables "enforce access checks" on the AC

Load
balancer application. It should only be necessary to explicitly grant
this
if you
have tightened security beyond the SP1 defaults.

After Hotifx 891330 is installed, it will appear in Add/Remove programs.
During
installation, an NTServicePack event is not written to the event log. It
does not
appear in the MPSRe****ts hotfix.txt file.

2) If Request Forwarding will not be used (usually it is not), remove the
Request
Forwarding ISAPI filter (RfFiltExt). This will result in better
performance and
will avoid possible problems with the web server not functioning.

820453 Application Center 2000 does not perform as well on Windows
Server
2003

262674 How to remove the Request Forwarder ISAPI
    http://sup****t.microsoft.com/?id=262674
2 steps - MDUTIL command followed by running the IIS MMC to remove the

filter.

3) Disable anti-virus real-time scanning of files in $ACSRPL$ directory
on
the
drives which are being replicated.

Virus real-time monitoring causes some files not to be replicated when

deploying approximately 100 10-MB files
    http://sup****t.microsoft.com/kb/821119/en-us

4) If .NET assemblies are deployed, consider installing hotfix 892092.

FIX: You experience a second chance exception when you replicate .NET
Framework
assemblies, and .NET Framework assemblies that have a SPACE character in
the .dll
file name extension do not replicate, in Application Center 2000 with SP2
    http://sup****t.microsoft.com/kb/892092/en-us

5) There is a known issue with replication of .NET 2.0 assemblies which
are
installed in the GAC. A hotfix is not yet publicly available.

6) Consider installing 900609 which resolves a performance problem on
Windows 2003
Server.

You may experience slow performance by some programs on a computer
that
is
running Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 1
    http://sup****t.microsoft.com/?id=900609

7) If Request Forwarding is used with SSL, install hotfix 890350.

The Inetinfo.exe process may cause an access violation when you have a

large
SSL post request on a computer that is running Application Center
    http://sup****t.microsoft.com/kb/890350/en-us
