Hello, All!
I want to integrated two servers in NLB-cluster. Servers have two NICs,
and
I want to configure the NLB-cluster in unicast mode. I enable Network Load
Balancing in properties of NIC, which will be used for NLB-cluster. In
Cluster IP configuration I specified the cluster IP adress and the cluster
DNS name. In Host Parameters I specified the dedicated IP-address, which
used for cluster NIC of node (was specified before integration to
NLB-cluster).
The cluster node have a two NICs and two IP-adresses.Therefore in DNS
(using
AD-integrated Dynamic DNS zone) each node registers two IP-adresses for
node
DNS name. But one NIC is used for unicast NLB configuration and cluster
MAC-address substitutes the MAC-address of this NIC. Therefore when the
clients try to connect to node using the node DNS-name, which corresponds
to the cluster NIC - client must to connect to NLB-cluster instead of
connection to specific host. Does it mean that I must change record for
node
IP adress of cluster NIC in DNS zone and replace the node name for this IP
to cluster name ?
I want to use the NLB-cluster for terminal session and I specified ****t
rules for RDP traffic only (3389-3389). It means that RDP-traffic will be
ballanced. But if I use the roaming profiles and client tries to load data
from his roaming profile - this traffic not be ballanced, and NLB-driver
blocks this SMB traffic. Is it correct ? Perhapse this is the cause of my
problems with roaming profiles ?
