Hi Jason,
Our AC team confirmed this issue. Just according to the KB article, the
Rdrviis.dll file is modified to log error event 5049 when you replicate a
Web application for which no VR_PATH is defined. If you receive an error
event 5049 while replicating a Web application, you need to create the
VR_PATH value in the metabase for that virtual directory.
So the hotfix in this article will only log an error in the event log.
Please let me know if you have further question on this.
Thanks.
Sincerely,
WenJun Zhang
