1158 error message

I got the same 1158 message right after I put the game in and hit install. 

The game does not install at all.  I've gone to several different sites 
suggesting all kinds of stuff but nothing worked.  My video driver is up
to 
date, and so is everything else.  I even thought I had a bad disk drive so
I 
tried installing Age of Mythology onto the computer and it worked
perfectly.  
What is the deal with AOE3 on this computer?  I installed it perfectly on
3 
other computers.  The funny thing is, this computer is the best one. 
Doesn't 
make any sense to me.  Running XP Home Edition.
