Has anyone else had problems with AOE 3 cra****ng after the cnematic
introduction?
The error appears to be with the age3.exe file.
I have removed then re-installed the game to no effect.
I have noticed that in the error re****t that is generated the 'System
Information'is incorrect, it states Windows NT 5.1 Build: 2600 yet I have
XP
on service pack 2.
What may have contributed to the problem:
I recently had a professional updgrade my PC, I kept the same hard drive
and
they tried to supply me with a different product key for XP becaues they
threw away my tower case without keeping the sticker for me. I do have a
had
written copy of my XP key with the original purchase info from several
years
ago.
But I am still uncertain if that is the problem as I was able to play AOE3
about 5-6 times since the re-build before the problem occurred.
