I bought Age of Empires II: Age of Kings and the Conquerers expansion pack
(the Gold collection i believe)
Im installing it on my laptop which is Vista, and when it gets to 100% it
says "updating system settings." The problem is, this is all it does! It
won't change, it won't finish installing, and I can't play it until this
mystery step is done. It also hogs all of my CPU so I can't do anything
else
and it takes 5 minutes just to open the Task Manager and end the process.
I've tried lowering the compatibility to work at Win 98 levels, but that
hasnt helped.
Anybody have advice that can help me? I'd appreciate it.
