If you have had AOE3 installed before try deleting the registry info first.
I had the exact same problem tried for many hours to get this installed
when
I realozed that the computer was already seeing the registry info. Do
"REGEDIT" on run and go to software. Open the micorsoft games and AOE3
will
be listed there. Just delete that info and restart your machine, then
reinstall. This fixed all the problems I had.
