I have a Barracuda Spam firewall 300 appliance which we'd like to set up to
block all invalid mails before hitting the exchange 2003 server.
We set it up but it run on LDAP.
We have a parent domain domain.corp and a child domain child.domain.com
When i set up the barracuda to query against a GC on domain.com it will
work
ok for all the mail recipients within this domain but it will block with
"invalid recipient" all e-mails going to the recipients which are
physically
located within child.domain.com
I tried giving it a child.domain.com dns and the reverse happens.
It looks like by default, there is not ldap binding from the parent domain
to the child domain.
I was reading that a crossref object needs to be set up but I haven;t
found
much info on how to get this setup or I'm not even sure if this would fix
the
issue.
Any replies would be appreciated.
