How to see machines in the network in a win 2008 Domain controller

by =?Utf-8?B?TWFoZXNo?= <Mahesh@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jul 2, 2008 at 05:43 AM

I am not sure whether this is the right forum to post this question. I
couldn't find more appropriate one.

In Win2k3, We can see all the known domains in the network. For example
under My Network Places\\Entire Network\\Microsoft Windows Network.
Similarly
I would like to see them in windows 2008 server 64 bit. I donot know
whether
they are visible in a normal server, but mine is a domain controller and I

can see only the machines which are members of that domain under Network
folder in win 2k8.

I have an application which retrieves all the known domains in network.
That
works fine in win 2k3 Domain controller and returns all the domains listed
in
the above mentioned path(in My Network Places). But in Windows 2008, due
to
some security/policy setting of domain I am not able to retrieve anything.
It will be a great favor if somebody can throw their opinions/solutions.

TIA,
Mahesh
