Hi,
I am sup****ting one Web based application that is using two third party
controls (ActiveX controls). Here is the list of the controls that is used
in
that application:
1) Sheridan Data Widgets 3.0
2) Sheridan Calendar Widgets 1.0
These controls downloads on "C:\Windows\Downloaded Program files" folder
in
its first run. We have license for above said controls.
That application is working fine on almost all of the machines except some
machines where "***ulative Security Update for Internet Explorer
(KB947864)
has been installed.
I am getting "Unlicensed copy - for demo use only" popup message before
populating the pages those are containing above controls.
Application will work fine again if we remove KB947864 patch from user's
machine. We will not get any popup if we remove that patch.
Since KB947864 is the windows security patch, user has to install it and
User wants to run that application on their work station after installing
that patch.
I am assuming that this problem is related to the Windows security
settings.
However, I can not say much on it.
Kindly suggest me if you have any workaround. Any help you can provide me
would be appreciated.
