CNAME in DNS under _msdcs

by "Jacques Demers" <jacquesdemers@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jul 30, 2008 at 09:46 AM

Hi,
This week we remove a Windows 2000 SP4 DC from our active directory and
reinstalled it later. Everything seems to work fine except that this
morning
we realised that in DNS under _msdcs we have two Alias (CNAME) for the
same
DC. Should we deleted the one with the oldest time stamp or DNS will take
care of it by itself. What could have happen to have two entries.

Thank you for your help
Jacques
