DC Hardware

by "Rick" <rick_boparai@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > May 4, 2008 at 01:43 PM

We in the process of buying new hardware for our Domain Controllers and our

standard is to use HP Blade servers. The blades come with 2 hard drives. I

was planning on mirroring these drives and placing just the Windows Server

2003 OS on them. My question is I was planning to store the AD database on
a
mirrored volume that resides on the SAN. Is there any issues with having
the
AD database and logs reside on the SAN or is it better to keep it on local

drives?
