I need to restore my Primary domain controller to a new box. the
pdc is 2k3 with sp1. I use ntbackup and backup system state. The new box
is
built up identical to the old box same name, IP, after installing 2k3 i
tried
a
restore of the system state. The restore went through fine but when i
reboot
right
after POST i get a blue screen and then the system restarts.
this happens over and over until i kill the machine. Ive also
tried doing the restore from Directory service restore mode but
it has the same outcome.
Does anyone know what could be causing this issue?
