access 2007 slow over network

I have just installed Office 2007 on several PCs in a remote office.  They 
are having issues with opening access databases on the server in the main 
office.  Nothing on the network has changed and the databases open up fine

when using Office 2000.  Any ideas as to what could be causing this would
be 
greatly appreciated.
