Access overrides default SQL bit values

by =?Utf-8?B?bmV3cGFyYWRpZ20=?= <newparadigm@[EMAIL PROTECTED] Aug 4, 2008 at 06:51 AM

When I create a new record in a table with bit values in, these bit values
automatically set themselves to true, even though the default is false
(0).
This only happens when I start to add data to the record, unlike the
default
values which are displayed even before anything is entered.
A strange twist to this is that this only happens on two of the three
computers I tried it on, even though they are all opening the same project

(.adp) file using the same SQL Server (MSDE) database and all using Access

2003. The third computer retains the default value when a new record is
added
(as expected).
Has anyone got any idea why this might be and how to stop it?
The computer that works as expected is running XP Home (as opposed to
Professional on the other two), is much lower spec. and probably hasn't
been
updated as recently as the other two.
