My desktop is not recognizing my cdrom or dvd drives. My laptop is working
fine. Is there a way to put my desktop xp pro cd in my laptop and install
the files onto my desktop to repair or reinstall xp pro? I am not a
computer
pro but not an idiot either. I have tried copying the cd to zip drive but
encountered a problem with files that wouldn't copy (only got shortcut
files). Did I do something wrong here? Any help would be greatly
appreciated. I have tried numerous fixes for getting my desktop to
recognize
my cd/dvd drives, all to no avail.
