remove a unused synchronisation address from a unmanaged replica

by =?Utf-8?B?UmljaGFyZCBkZSBHb2VkZQ==?= <RicharddeGoede@[EMAIL PROTECTED] Jun 2, 2008 at 02:06 AM

how can i remove a unused synchronisation address from a unmanaged replica
?

see my last post ( 5/29/08 )

i moved design masters from 1 server to another and now i want to phase
out
the old server, but all of the unmanaged replica's now hold both
addresses.
( the new server now holds the design master and the old server is
synchronised and is now a replica )
if i shut down the old server, synchronisation with the new server fails.

i tried "remove defunct replica", no luck. somehow the replica still wants

to synchronize with the old server when i choose the new server address.
