Future of Access replication

by "Don Udel \(ETC\)" <donudel@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Mar 4, 2008 at 09:27 AM

All in all, I'm wondering if SQL Replication is the way to go when
replication is needed.

I'm getting the impression the Microsoft is deemphasising Access
replication. Is anyone else getting this impression? The do***entation
for
Access replication is sparse; and had it not been for Mr's Kaplan and
Fenton
(among others), sup****t would be hard to come by. (A big Thank You to
them.) I once entered an MSDN Universal call ticket on Access Replication

and came up with ZIP. The poor sup****t of Access Replication in Vista
also
gives me pause.

Is SQL Replication the way to go?

Is it better sup****ted?

What issues does it have?

Has anyone converted an Access replication system to SQL Replication? Any

issues?

TIA

Don
