Access Replication and security.

by =?Utf-8?B?UC4gU2NhcmFt?= <PScaram@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jan 17, 2008 at 03:41 AM

I have developed an access application running on a network and I have
enhanced security following the instructions on knowledge base article KB
132143 where the database is created with a different user from Admin and
in
this way it cannot be copied to another PC and opened with access db.

Now because the application will be run from laptops I am considering
using
replicator 4.0 from an Internet server and the laptops synchronised with
that.
Can that work with the secured database and what .mdw file will I need to
use for every laptop, to guarantee the same level of security like before.
Is there an additional procedure for security together with the procedure
of
indirect synchronisation through an internet server ?

Thank you in advance

P. Scaram
