Each time I open the database it says there are conflicts, when I try
to resolve, it says no conflicts found.
My database has only 1 conflict table: MSysSchedule_conflict.
All other conflicts were resolved and the empty conflict tables
deleted.
MSysConflicts has 6 records. In the reason field all 6 state
"recovered replica data...". I recall a database replica where I ran
a compact and got a bunch of conflict tables with recovered replica
data. I wrote append queries to append missing data to the main
tables. Then I deleted the conflict records and ultimately the
conflict tables.
the replicas seem to replicate just fine now. And I can compact and
repair them with out error - just without resolution of this
situation.
I licensed the AccessFix database repair utility, which looked good in
the demo version. It choked on repairing the database. I have
excellent response from the vendor to questions so I am hopeful that
after the weekend they will respond with something to help resolve the
problem in using their repair utility.
I know one way of resolving this would be to unreplicate the design
master and then create a new design master and replicas. As I have
about 25 laptops with the database that appears to b e a HUGE
undertaking. Replacing the 3 replica farms on three servers would not
be an issue, but how to automate the replacement of the databases on
the laptops? Anyone ever do this would would have suggestions on how
to automate it?
