Access ODBC to SQL Server

by "jonknutsonhome@[EMAIL PROTECTED] " <jonknutsonhome@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Mar 3, 2008 at 01:39 PM

a client gave me an access DB.. it links via odbc to sql server

i have them all installed

when i try to open the access db... it gives me an odbc--connection to
'your connecton' failed.

but i know i have a user that has the correct permissions in the sql
server db...

is it locked into a certain server?
is there any way i can tell?

you clearly can't open and see anything if you right click and open in
notepad...

thanks, Jon
