Correction for paragraph 1. It should read as follows:

I have a subform that has a fixed height on the main form. It is set as 
continuous forms. Each record has 11 fields on the form. Field 1 is the 
identifier for that record. Below that field are descriptor fields with a 
corresponding descriptortext field to hold the data. Field 2 is
Descriptor1. 
Field 3 is Descriptor1Text. Field 4 is Descriptor2. Field 5 is 
Descriptor2Text, and so on.
