Detail Section Height Adjustment

by =?Utf-8?B?QXJ0dXJv?= <Arturo@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Dec 3, 2008 at 06:14 AM

I have a subform that has a fixed height on the main form. It is set as
continuous forms. Each record has 11 fields on the form. Field 1 is the
identifier for that record. Below that field are descriptor fields with a
corresponding descriptortext field to hold the data. Field 2 is
Descriptor1.
Field 3 is Descriptor1Text. Field 4 is Descriptor2. Field 5 is
Descriptor5Text, and so on.

The descriptor and corresponding descriptortext is on the same line. If a
descriptor is blank, that field and the corresponding descriptortext field

will not be visible. (The descriptor is entered on another form and cannot
be
entered here. Only the descriptortext field can receive data.)

The detail section is currently set at 1.5 inches in height. If these
fields
are not visible, can I reduce the height of the detail section? Or, does
the
system still see these and hold a space for them?

Thank you.
