No Combo Box

User has Access 2002 SP3.  She is designing a form using a Combo Box to
type 
in an account number.  When a valid account number is typed, it
automatically 
fills in other data in the form such as company name, address, etc.  She 
wants to know what tool can be used other than a Combo Box or List Box
that 
will do the same thing without using a Combo/List Box.  She does not want
a 
drop-down showing every available account number.  Can anyone help?  Thank
