Trying to do a "Mass" email from Access

I have set up an event database (Acess 2003), and want to send html 
invitations with graphics, and I only want the invitation to show the 
receiver's name, not all of the people I send to.  Have tried the bcc: 
function, but am sending to hundreds of people and alot of companies have 
filters set up to treat bcc: as spam.

Any suggestions?  already tried mail merge in Word, but the graphics drop 
out for some reason.
