access 2007 datasheet view subform select record

I have an extremely large database i created in access 2003. I have
sucessfully transitioned over to A07. But i have a very tricky problem
that
has emerged and i have most definetly verified that this problem only
occures
in A07. It is so confusing i don't know how to ask the question, all i
know
is that when i converted to A07 if i select a recordset in my subform in
datasheet view with my mouse when the cursor is a plus sign instead of the
captial "i" all hell breaks loose. Can anyone explain to me what is
happening when the cursor turns to a plus sign instead of a capital "i".
My
hope is that if i can understand what the difference is between the
selection
methods i can then ask a more intelligent question about the real issue.
