Access 2002 Graphics sizes

by =?Utf-8?B?TWlrZQ==?= <Mike@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jan 2, 2008 at 09:38 AM

I am currently using Access 2002 and have a table with a field type that is

an OLE Object. I use this field to enter bitmap images of pictures that
print out on my re****ts and are displayed in my forms as well.

The problem I seem to be having is that the memory size for this database
is
growing rapidly. I have tried to embed JPEG's into this field instead and

can not see the images on my re****ts or forms when I do this. MS Paint
(5.1)
does not allow me to save the image in a JPEG format when i try to insert
a
new image either. The only format that seems to work is a bitmap image
and
is eating up too much memory. I am pondering buying the latest Access
2007
to resolve this, but I can't tell from what I have read that this will
solve
my problem either. My fear is that once I have 1,000 or more records in
this
table with all of these images, the table (re****ts or forms too) will take

forever to load due the memory needed for all of these records.

Any help out there will be greatly appreciated!!!
